Jessica Pedraza is an immigration attorney dedicated to helping immigrants and their families build secure futures in the United States. A first-generation Colombian immigrant, she brings both personal insight and extensive legal experience to a practice focused on humanitarian and family-based immigration matters. Her work includes affirmative asylum applications, T visas, U visas, VAWA petitions, adjustment of status, family-based petitions, waivers, naturalization, asylum, consular processing, and complex immigration case strategy.
Jessica has represented clients nationwide and has successfully guided individuals and families through some of the most challenging areas of immigration law. She has extensive experience preparing and litigating affirmative asylum cases, helping individuals fleeing persecution obtain protection in the United States. She has also successfully prevailed in naturalization appeals before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services, assisting clients in overcoming prior denials and ultimately obtaining U.S. citizenship.
In addition to representing clients, Jessica has served as a supervising attorney overseeing teams of attorneys and legal professionals handling thousands of immigration matters nationwide. She has played a key role in attorney training, case review, legal strategy development, and compliance initiatives, helping ensure that clients receive thorough and effective representation. Her experience combines hands-on advocacy with a deep understanding of immigration law practice management and attorney mentorship. Jessica is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
Jessica has handled matters arising in Arizona, Washington, Louisiana, Florida, Texas, and numerous other states. She is particularly known for her ability to identify creative legal solutions in complex cases and for her commitment to serving immigrant communities.
Jessica earned her Juris Doctor from Boston University School of Law, where she was an Equal Justice America Fellow and worked directly with immigrant communities through the Americans for Immigrant Justice Summer Fellowship. She received her Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business and Economics, magna cum laude, from the FIU Honors College. Fluent in English and Spanish, Jessica remains committed to expanding access to high-quality immigration representation and helping individuals and families navigate the immigration system with confidence, dignity, and hope.
